Theo Strømsted Persen (March 9, 1985 – June 26, 2011) was a Norwegian visual artist born in Maastricht, the Netherlands. He attended the Oslo Drawing and Painting School when he was 12. He later studied at Christiania FriAkademi, with Jan-Cato Bøttger as his primary teacher. After a few years of other schooling, he started again at Christiania FriAkademi, still with Jan-Cato Bøttger as primary teacher, working partly as an assistant teacher. He made both paintings and drawings. Most of the drawings are sketches drawn with charcoal or pencil on sheets of paper.
