Lions Mansen

The sculpture is an abstract and offset replicant of the real building Lions Manson in Hiroshima.

Anja Høvik Strømsted is an author, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist born in Oslo. She has studied Creative Writing at Telemark College University and Gothenburg University Valand School of Fine Arts and Film production (M.F.A.) at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She has produced works of fiction, short and feature films, animation films, music and music videos, photography, and visual arts that have won prizes and screened in India, Germany, the U.S., Italy, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, and Norway among other countries. The duo Strømsted and Hurst has made numerous projects since 2012. They also run the literary press S & H Press and the film production company Flipsnip Films and Hurst Production.

Her work has won prizes and has been screened and exhibited in Germany, Japan, Egypt, Norway, India, the US, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, and Italy, among other countries.
