Synopsis: A young woman travels through the mountains and arrives in a beautiful green valley where she meets an old wizard. She moves in with him, and magical forces seem connected to the rambling roses that climb the wizard’s house.
Director Statement: With “I’m Getting Grey,” we wanted to tell a symbolic and fantastical story of blooming love between a wanderer and an old wizard. The story is told through stop motion animation done with oil pastels in an impressionistic and painterly way, to get close to a poetic viewpoint of their mysterious love that eventually has strange consequences.
