Anja Høvik Strømsted is an author, filmmaker, photographer, and multidisciplinary artist born in Oslo. She has studied Creative Writing at Telemark College University and Gothenburg University’s Valand School of Fine Arts, as well as Film production (M.F.A.) at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has produced works of fiction, short and feature films, animation films, music, music videos, photography, and visual arts that have won prizes and screened worldwide. She won an Official Selection from IPA International Photography Awards in 2025 and Honorable Mention from Neutral Density Photography Awards in 2019. The duo Strømsted and Hurst has made numerous projects since 2012. They also run the film production company Flipsnip Films and Hurst Production, which produced the animated feature film “Blossomele.”

Jasmin Hurst gained her MFA in Fine Arts from Trondheim Art Academy and a Diploma from Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences and Hiroshima Art Academy. Her work has won prizes and has been screened and exhibited in Germany, Japan, Egypt, Norway, India, the US, Great Britain, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, and Italy, among other countries. The duo Strømsted and Hurst has made shorts, features, animation films, and numerous music videos and art projects since 2012. She also runs the film production company Flipsnip Films and Hurst Production, and produced the feature animation film “Blossomele.”
