T.A.N.K.

Jasmin Hurst, “T.A.N.K.”, sculpture (sand stone), land art, Füssen, 2006

The stone sculpture T.A.N.K. stands by a natural monument, a smooth honed mountain wall that has its origin from the folding of the alps, a typical hallmark of our civilization. An asphalted parking lot meets the wall. The tank reacts on the border between monument and hallmark. The tank sucks energy from the wall with the help of a tube, a symbol of exchange of nature’s resourches.
